Farm in Beijing
We have a farm in Beijing, actually more like a organic vegetable farm. Its owner used to grow trees to sell but later turn it into a organic farm as the expats community increasing in the areas. Beside BBQ , high tea and house warming, visiting the farm becomes one of the popular past time for weekends with the kids. Its owner offer 2 type of vegetable plot, 60 sq meters plot for casual farmer and 600 sq meters for serious farmer. Whatever that was left unharvested are collected and fed to the animals that was breed on the other side of the farm or turn into compost. There are wild duck, goose, chicken, sheep, pig and turkeys on the farm.Beside, fruit trees such as peaches and apple are also grow on the farm.
