Mother's Day
Late spring in Beijing and today is the 9th of May, Mother Day. Give a call to my mother this morning back in Singapore and thereafter I took Rachel's kids, Sophie and Sidney out for a ride. Brought them to some outskirt area called TianBei Lu which is not too far from where we lived in Beijing. Along the way, the girls came down to pick some wild flowers for their mother day gift.
Sophie, the eldest daugther place a stick-on rubber stained glass she made earlier on the glass vase and place the flower in and it really look good !
After that we had some tea and biscuit in the garden and watch the kids trying to help their mother with the planting in the garden.
Just hope that summer will come a little slower as it will be getting really hot this year judging from the amount of snow falls last winter.
And for a moment, I remember my mother telling me earlier that morning that it was really hot in Singapore, I felt so much cooler as the late spring breeze start to blow at all of us while we were enjoying our tea.
